Castalla is a small mountain village located approximately 35km inland from Alicante City. Its name is derived from the impressive Castle that sits on the hill overlooking the town and the surrounding valley. Nestled in the valley between 2 mountain ranges and national parks the town benefits from some spectacular countryside and mountain views. Whilst the area offers peaceful and tranquil mountain village lifestyle it also just 35km and about 20 minutes drive from all the amenities, beaches and of course the airport at Alicante City. Due to the location and land prices properties here can be between 30% and 50% less than the same properties located in the coastal resorts.
