Elche is a large, cosmopolitan city just South of Alicante and a short 20 minute drive from the beaches at Santa Pola and Gran Alacant. The city is famous for its commercial growing of palm trees which is evident in the many city´s parks. Its lively, bustling centre is great for shopping or an evening out.
Its historic centre with its churches, parks and monuments are also welcomed worth a visit.
